PWC’s 11th Annual Power of Words Breakfast, Virtual Edition

On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, People, Words & Change held an inspiring event via Zoom – our 11th annual Power of Words (virtual!) Breakfast! 

Contributors included Jamaal Jackson Rogers, Brenda Chapman, Deanna Young, Mohammed Adam, Michelle Yuan-Innes, Dick Cooper (The Cooper Brothers) and a host of people currently enrolled in our program. In celebration of International Literacy Day, PWC held its 10th annual Power of Words Breakfast on September 6 in the Unitarian Fellowship Hall at Heartwood House. People, Words & Change is a non-profit, charitable organization providing opportunities for English-speaking adults in Ottawa to improve literacy, numeracy or basic computer skills which are essential to working, learning, and living. One-on-one tutoring is provided free of charge by volunteer tutors to meet the needs and goals of the learners.

Feedback on the manner in which PWC provides its services to people with disabilities, and any other services, is encouraged and appreciated.
