PWC’s 11th Annual Power of Words Breakfast, Virtual Edition

On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, People, Words & Change held an inspiring event via Zoom – our 11th annual Power of Words (virtual!) Breakfast! 

Contributors included Jamaal Jackson Rogers, Brenda Chapman, Deanna Young, Mohammed Adam, Michelle Yuan-Innes, Dick Cooper (The Cooper Brothers) and a host of people currently enrolled in our program. Power of Words Breakfast – September 6, 2019

Our municipally-recognized Power of Words Breakfasts and Volunteer Appreciation events are hosted annually to celebrate the accomplishments of our learners, the dedication of our tutors, and the involvement of our sponsors.

People, Words & Change is a non-profit, charitable organization providing opportunities for English-speaking adults in Ottawa to improve literacy, numeracy or basic computer skills which are essential to working, learning, and living. One-on-one tutoring is provided free of charge by volunteer tutors to meet the needs and goals of the learners.
