Power of Words Breakfast – September 7, 2012

PWC’s third annual Power of Words Breakfast celebrating the achievements of our literacy learners was an event to remember. A HUGE thank you goes out to our sponsors, the learners, volunteer tutors, PWC Board Members and staff, members of the community and friends of PWC, and the guest speakers. Over 120 people enjoyed a delicious breakfast catered by the Newport Restaurant. Master of Ceremonies CTV-Ottawa Sports Director Terry Marcotte led the way with charm and enthusiasm. [Read more…]

People, Words & Change is a non-profit, charitable organization providing opportunities for English-speaking adults in Ottawa to improve literacy, numeracy or basic computer skills which are essential to working, learning, and living. One-on-one tutoring is provided free of charge by volunteer tutors to meet the needs and goals of the learners.

Feedback on the manner in which PWC provides its services to people with disabilities, and any other services, is encouraged and appreciated.
